The Dragon Compendium

This Dragon Compendium started as my final thesis – and it’s still one of my most cherished personal projects. It’s where my passion for creature design truly gets to shine. The core concept? Imagine dragons living in our world as real, biological beings. How would they have evolved? What dragon families would exist? What ecological niches would they fill?

In this book, dragons aren’t distant legends – they live among us. Some are domesticated companions, others mischievous city dwellers, and some are grand wild creatures, roaming free. I merge global mythology with real-world biology, ecology, and zoology – exploring how these creatures might coexist with humans, be endangered, or even protected.

While the heart of the project lies in worldbuilding and dragon design, every aspect – from layout to typography – was thoughtfully crafted by me. All texts were researched and written by hand, filled with both imagination and scientific curiosity.

And the best part? It’s still growing. One dragon at a time, this world keeps expanding. My dream is to one day turn this compendium into a real published book – and I honestly can’t wait for that moment to arrive.
